He and a couple friends on the team decided they would be SUPER-cool & give the peace sign, so every time I looked at him this is what he would do. (Too bad he only likes the idea of the peace sign, I would take it if it were his attitude - however, he likes lots of guns, swords, wrestling, fighting and normal boy stuff, not really peace.)
As you can see, he is already looking quite professional. He has the pants, shirt, matching belt and socks, cleats, bat, batting gloves, and helmet. (Actually, I bought the belt and socks, we only had blue, LOTS of blue, so I was going to get red. Then, I thought, RED? I better go black. We don't want any part of S. Sevier here! :)) Oh, and I love the facial expression - priceless!
He had a great time running bases. And, he hit 2 home runs!, he hits at least 2 about every game.
Wow!, these games are more exhausting than you would think. Time for a break at the pitcher's mound. Good thing there are 10 other boys running all around him after every ball so he can just relax and enjoy a front-row seat of his own game.
BASEBALL - ya gotta LOVE it!
What a super athlete. He looks like he has already played for a long time. I love the peace sign and the big grin. Way to go Jake Keep up the good work and then maybe you can be as good as grandpa was at baseball. He He Love you all
ReplyDeleteHi Janna,
ReplyDeleteI just thought I would tell you what a cute family you have. Your blog is so cute. You do a great job keeping up!
Thanks Jodi, I am going to have to find yours, at Braxton's ballgames, I see your kids running around and they are getting so big. You should know they are very good not to talk to strangers, I have tried to talk to your girls a couple times but they just look at me like I am crazy. :) They are adorable.
